Ron Rubinstein
Head of Fundraising Services
Experience: 20 years + 

Ron has over 20 years of finance experience in operations, fundraising and M&A in the US and Finland. His experience spans successes and failures in multiple boom and bust cycles, multiple industries and all development stages, from startup to IPO to sale. Prior to joining Technopolis in 2009 Ron was CFO of Valimo Wireless. He has led finance operations for a variety of businesses in the US and Finland. In addition he has entrepreneurial experience as a co-founder of a healthcare IT business in the US. In total Ron has been involved in raising over half a billion USD in venture capital, high yield bonds, bank debt, angel investments and other growth funding.
Harri Länsipuro

Harri Länsipuro
Fundraising Manager
Experience: 20 years +

Harri joined Technopolis in 2011, and has strong international experience founding and scaling businesses, productizing services and technologies, as well as restructuring. His strengths include business logic and scaling analysis, business strategy evaluation and partnering. Previous to joining Technopolis Harri was a managing partner at XN-Ventures. He also had several managerial roles at Nokia.Services and Software, and worked in Nokia Ventures and Nokia Growth Partners. Recently Harri has gained experience advising companies on internationalization and growth strategies ,and has been involved with fundraising projects with international venture capital investors.

Heikki Juntti
Fundraising Manager
Experience: 5 years

Heikki has been a part of the Technopolis Fundraising Team since 2010. Prior to Technopolis he worked at PWC Corporate Finance as an M&A analyst . Heikki has strong international experience both academically and from his professional career. His strengths include financial analysis, valuation and business strategy evaluation. Recently Heikki has gained experience advising companies on growth strategies and has carried out fundraising projects involving all available funding sources including international venture capital investors. In addition Heikki also has a strong understanding of public financing instruments.

Perttu Juntura
Fundraising Analyst
Experience: 3 years

Perttu joined the Technopolis in 2009 and has advised dozens of growth companies since. His key competencies include growth company funding, business development and financial forecasting. Perttu has a comprehensive understanding of public funding and how to utilize all available financing instruments to create the optimal funding roadmap for a growth stage company. In addition, Perttu has been involved in several funding rounds involving venture capital and angel investors. Before joining Technopolis he provided financing and banking solutions to SMEs as a Corporate Financing Manager at OP Bank.

Jukka Jokinen
Director Development Services
Experience: 20 years +

Jukka Jokinen has broad experience with a variety of private equity operations as well as setting-up and developing start-up technology businesses. Prior to joining Technopolis in 2010, Jukka was a partner at Eqvitec Partners, where he was responsible for ICT sector investments in the Nordic countries. Prior to Eqvitec he worked at Nokia´s Venturing Unit where his main responsibilities were identifying and evaluating potential new business ideas, initiating new business development activities and supporting new business. Jukka has also worked at Sitra, where he got acquainted with the development issues of the venture capital markets in Nordic countries.

Jukka Rauhala
Director of Technopolis HMA
Experience: 20 years +

Jukka joined Technopolis in 2010, and currently leads Helsinki Metropolitan Area and Development Services . Jukka has a strong background in Venture Capital, working as a General Partner of Nordic Venture Partners. Jukka has previously also worked in various operational and leadership positions in Hewlett-Packard and Nokia Networks. In addition Jukka is and has been an active board member in several start-up and growth stage companies.

Will Cardwell
Head of Aalto University Center for Entrepeneurship
Experience: 20 years +

Will Cardwell has a wealth of experience in venture capital and venture related businesses. He has spent over 15 years in the Finnish high-tech environment in a variety of roles: CEO of venture stage technology business Valimo Wireless, sold to Gemalto in 2010; venture capitalist at Eqvitec Partners, and Conor Venture Partners; investment banker with Eqvitec Advisors / Robertson Stephens; and researcher and lecturer at what is now Aalto University´s School of Economics and School of Technology. Will was also CEO of Technopolis Ventures and is currently Head of Aalto University´s Center for Entrepreneurship.
