Technopolis Ozas got a positive reception in Vilnius, Lithuania
Technopolis expanded to Vilna in May 2013 and it happened just the right time for several reasons. Also the feedback from customers has been very positive.
“The quantity of office space is growing moderately and the price levels are sensible. The city offers no such office space nor services that Technopolis has to offer so the local companies have been very receptive. Technopolis as an international company with excellent facilities and advanced concept is needed. The clientele of Vilnius campus includes well-established anchor companies with long leases from the banking, consulting and engineering sectors”, says Sami Juutinen, Director of International Operations.
Two buildings and third under construction
”The current customers of Technopolis have been very interested in our new campus either to start new business or to move functions there. The campus includes three different buildings totaling 42,300 sqm in rentable space. We have an additional growth potential of 30,000 sqm, which enables us to serve different customer needs”, says Juutinen. The campus has good transportation connections and services. It is located less than 3 kilometers from the CBD right next to a planned new ring road. The area has good services and leisure facilities, like shopping center, water-park, sports & events arena.
The Economy of the Baltic Countries is growing rapidly on a European scale and they offer a lot of opportunities, also to Technopolis. Lithuania is the area´s biggest economy and it is expected to grow 3,1 % in 2013. Lithuania´s economy is strongly based on the economies of Poland, Germany, Belarus and Russia, which diminishes our dependency of the Nordic Countries.
Our company strategy is to grow 15 % annually and this deal enhances the growth of positive cash flow. This expansion is according to our internationalization strategy´s second foreign deal after Estonia.
