Creating a Company Culture and Environment of Wellbeing – Juha Äkräs together with Tiia Rauhamäki from Technopolis
(in English)

• What is the scientific link between company culture, wellbeing and performance? What kind of culture enhances employee wellbeing?
• What role does our office landscape play in our wellbeing and productivity?
• How can employees themselves shape their environment and culture to better support their wellbeing?

Webinar Speaker: Juha Äkräs
Doctoral Candidate, Aalto University
Chairman, Hintsa Performance

Juha has two decades worth of executive experience from demanding people leadership positions – among them as Nokia’s Executive Vice President of HR, leading Nokia through the massive turnaround to refocus on the network business. Juha founded Hintsa Performance together with Aki Hintsa in 2014 and has served as CEO and now as Executive Chairman.

Alongside his work at Hintsa, Juha is working on his doctoral dissertation on the link between organizational wellbeing and business outcomes – teasing out concrete culture, leadership and behavioural elements that truly drive business performance. His dissertation on what he calls “mass-thriving” now encompasses data from 2,000+ individuals, aiming for 10,000 in the next few years, thus making it one of the world’s largest datasets on performance and wellbeing in organizations.
